"Marley Spoon has been a super interesting journey for me, where I really developed myself. Coming from a big multinational, with lengthy processes, it's amazing to see the projects you are working on come to life in just a few weeks. I have been able to jump into topics that are completely out of my comfort zone, and I keep on learning everyday. When these opportunities come up, even if they are out of your day to day scope or comfort zone, you will be encouraged to take them. And it's ok to fail - as long as you can learn from it! Charlie’s Marley Spoon journey started in Talent Acquisition, he then took the opportunity to move into the People Operations team to delight our Berlin team members. “I love helping our team members and striving towards making Marley Spoon the best place to work! There are many aspects I enjoy about working at Marley Spoon, but one of my favorites is the autonomy we are given and the freedom to express ideas and have our opinions heard. The first box is out the door! 📦 Excited to announce the opening of our new fulfilment centre in Perth. This state-of-the-art centre comes at a crucial time as we focus on #innovation and efficiency in our supply chain. It means we can continue to evolve alongside changing consumer habits and provide more Aussies with affordable, tasty, and healthy meal solutions with our Marley Spoon and Dinnerly brands. The 12,650 sqm fulfilment centre will not only bolster our mission to bring #delicious dinners to Australian families but also support the local community through job growth. Currently employing 80 staff members, we have plans to nearly double this number in the future. As we continue to #grow, we're thrilled to show our commitment to WA consumers and suppliers by sourcing over 90% of fresh produce locally and 100% of beef, pork, lamb, and chicken ingredients from WA. Thank you to our dedicated #team, developer Dexus, and builders Capstone Construction for making this milestone possible. We look forward to delivering even fresher, healthier, and more cost-effective meals to the doorsteps of WA residents.
