Select Settings & Privacy from the dropdown.

Click the Data Privacy on the left rail.

Under the How LinkedIn uses your data section, click Get a copy of your data.

Select the data that you’re looking for and Request archive.

You should only download your data from a personal computer and not a public computer.

This feature is currently not available on mobile.

You'll only receive the categories of data that are applicable to your account and activities on LinkedIn. For example, if you don't have certifications listed on your profile, you won't receive a Certifications file.

LinkedIn will only provide your own personal data and not that of other members. LinkedIn does not provide People You May Know or Who’s Viewed Your Profile data.

If you close your account, you'll no longer have access to your LinkedIn account data. For more information, you can check out what happens after you close your account.

You may notice in your connection data that some of your connections’ email addresses are missing. That’s because members choose in their privacy settings whether to allow others to download their email address.

Causes You Care About | Contains a list of causes you've included on your profile. |
Certifications | Contains a list of certifications that you've included on your profile. |
Connections | Name, position, company, and connection date of 1st degree connections you have on LinkedIn. An email address for the connection will be included only when authorized by your connection in their privacy settings. |
Contacts | Contacts you've imported on LinkedIn. |
Courses | Courses you've taken and listed on your profile. |
Education | Schools you've listed on LinkedIn, plus any details you included like the dates you attended, degrees you earned, and activities you participated in. |
Endoresements Given | A list of everyone you endorsed, the skill you endoresed them for, and the date of the endorsement. |
Endorsements Received | A list of everyone who's endorsed you, the skill they endorsed you for, and the date of the endorsement. If you accepted the member's endorsement, the "Endorsement Status" will show "Accepted". If you hid the endorsement from your profile later, it'll say "Hide" under "Display Status". Rejected endorsements are automatically hidden. |
Events | The names of all the events (including the ones you’ve attended, been invited to but declined, or have requested to attend), the date and time, your status as an attendee, and any external URL for the event shared by the event organizer. |
Honors | Honors you've listed on LinkedIn plus any details you included like the description, who gave it to you, and the date it was received. |
Job Application | Jobs you have applied to in the past. Includes information such as application date, company name, job title, job url and the name of submitted resume. |
Job Seeker Preferences | Includes preferred job types, locations, industries, company size, dream companies, job titles, and activity level. |
Languages | Languages you indicated that you understand along with your level of proficiency. |
Messages | All the messages in your Messages, Sent, and Archive folders. The file includes the date of the messages, the messages themselves, the subject lines, and whether a message was incoming or outgoing. |
Notes and Tags | Notes allow you to store information and action items for lead and account pages. Tags streamline your workflow by organizing your leads and accounts. |
Organizations | Organizations you've listed on your LinkedIn profile. It includes details you've provided like the name and a description of the organization, along with your position and how long you were affiliated with it. |
Patents | Information about any patents you hold that you've listed on your LinkedIn profile. It also includes details you provided like the issue date, filing number, etc. |
Phone Numbers | Phone numbers that you’ve associated with your LinkedIn account. |
Positions | All the job roles that you have listed on your LinkedIn profile, including the names of the companies you've worked for, your titles, a description of your duties, the locations, and the dates. |
Profile | The basic biographical information that makes up your LinkedIn profile, including your first and last name, and account creation date. |
Projects | Projects that you've listed on your profile including the title and length of the project along with a description and any web address you provided. |
Publications | A list of any publications that you’ve listed on your LinkedIn profile. |
Receipts | Details of purchases related to your LinkedIn account. |
Recommendations (Received) | All the recommendations you've received, including the name of the person who recommended you, the date of the recommendation, and whether you're displaying it on your profile. |
Recommendations (Given) | All recommendations you've given, including the name of the person you recommended and the date you wrote the recommendation. |
Rich Media | Includes URL links to any photos, videos, or documents shared on LinkedIn. |
Saved Jobs | Contains information about the jobs that are saved for future reference. It includes the date when the job was saved, the URL of the job posting, job title and the name of the company offering the job. |
Skills | A list of all the skills you've added to your profile. |
Verifications | Information about your verifications (e.g., workplace or ID verification) linked to your account confirming specific details in your profile. These may include, but are not limited to, work email you used for workplace verification and/or data received by the third-party ID verification partner, such as Clear. |

Ads Clicked | List of the ads you've clicked on. |
Ad Targeting | Contains information we use to figure out what ads to show you. Some of the targeting data may be derived from other information you've given us. For example, we might use your title as a clue to your seniority level. |
Calendar | Mobile app calendar that has been synced with LinkedIn. Includes calendar source, owner and last synced date. |
Comments | Comments that you've made, excluding comments on posts in Groups. It includes the date, the URL where your comment was posted, the comment itself, the item you commented on, and what kind of content it was (e.g. articles, shares, new positions, etc.). Contributions you've made to collaborative articles are also included in comments. |
Company Follows | A list of the entities (e.g., companies) you follow on LinkedIn. |
Email Addresses | This consists of a history of email addresses currently or previously associated with your account. The "added" field shows when an email address that has been associated with your account was first added to LinkedIn, either by you or by another member importing his or her contacts to LinkedIn. The "confirmed" field shows when you confirmed an email address that has been associated with your account. |
Group Comments | All the comments you've posted in Groups. This includes your comment, comment content type, date you commented, and a link to the comment. |
Group Likes | Contains all the texts you’ve "Liked" in Groups. This includes the liked content type, date you liked, and a link to the content. |
Group Posts | Contains all the posts you started in Groups. This includes the posts themselves, subject of the post, the date you posted, and a link to the post. |
Hashtag Follows | A list of the hastags you follow on LinkedIn, along with created and last modified date. |
Inferences About You | Key inferences we make about you based on your profile and activity on LinkedIn. |
Invitations | Invitations sent and received by you. |
Likes | Contains the updates you "Liked" except in Groups. It includes the date you "Liked" the update, the type of post, the title of the post, and the content of the post, if available. It also includes the URL of the post, if available. |
Logins | Shows all the stored account logins for your account. It includes the user agent provided by the application at the time, the IP address of the computer, date, time, and type of login. "Website Login" indicates a login using either the LinkedIn website or a LinkedIn mobile app. "Third Party Login" indicates a login from another site using OAuth, (e.g. a LinkedIn button elsewhere on the web). When we weren't able to determine more information about the login, we simply refer to it as "Login." |
Member Follows | A list of people you follow on LinkedIn. |
Mobile Applications | Mobile device LinkedIn applications that are registered with your account. It also shows the date(s) they were registered. |
Name information | The current name on your account and any previous name changes (including the date of the name change and the language in which it was made). |
Photos | Photos that you've shared on LinkedIn will appear in your archive folder as image files. You can also review and download your photos through your Settings & Privacy page using the View the rich media link. |
Reactions | Contains the updates you reacted to (except in Groups). It includes the date you reacted, the type of reaction and the URL of the post, if available. |
Receipts | Details of purchases related to your LinkedIn account. |
Registration | The date you registered on LinkedIn, the IP address you registered from, and the member who invited you, if there was one. It also shows your current subscription type. |
Reviews | Rating and reviews you’ve provided, including product reviews, service provider reviews, and LinkedIn Learning reviews. |
Saved Items | Includes URL link to your saved posts and articles along with the date they were saved. |
Saved Job Alerts | Your saved job alerts including saved date and job alerts URL. |
Saved People Searches | A list of searched people, along with the date of the search. |
Search Query/Search History | A list of your recent searches on LinkedIn. |
Security Challenges | Contains a list of all the challenge events for your account. Challenge events occur when you sign in from an unfamiliar computer or when you've used two-step verification with a "Pin", "Captcha" or other "Challenge Type" to confirm your identity. It includes the date of the challenge, the IP address the login attempt was made from, the assumed country, and the type of challenge. |
Shares | Everything you've shared or re-shared, plus posts you've made on the homepage and your LinkedIn Page. It includes the date, title, description, whether it was public or private (i.e. visibility), and a link to any images you included. If you shared a link, it'll also include the URL. Any original videos you've recorded or uploaded on LinkedIn can be accessed by going to the link within the videos.csv file in your archive. (Note that not everything that gets shared will have all of these data subsets. For example, re-shares of videos that other members have shared won't be included.) |
Other | If you would like access to data that's not included in the data files described above, you may complete LinkedIn's Data Access Request Form. Completed forms will automatically be sent to us for review, but note that it may take several days to receive a response. |
